Blog Article
HydraSieve screen also calledHydrosieve is a simple and effective screening device.
The device consists of a sieve bend screen and a frame. The sieve bend screen is made of vee-shaped wires with the function of self-cleaning and high-efficiency filtration.
The screen is designed for solid-liquid separation and is mainly suitable for removing solid suspended impurities from low-concentration solutions.
Principle of HydraSieve Screen
Hydrasieve screens are based on the Conada effect. The liquid to be screened forms a hydraulic attachment to the bars of the sieve bend screen. This liquid then passes through the trough, while the separated solids remain on the front face of the screen plate.
There are three steps of liquid and solid separation in Hydrasieve:
1. Wastewater is evenly and quietly distributed on the sieve bend screen.
2. Accelerate the liquid flow down the screen plate, while the separated solids stay on the screen plate.
3. The filtered liquid is collected in the screen holder.
Benefits of HydraSieve Screen
1. No moving parts, no motor required, energy saving
2. Easy installation, low cost, low maintenance
3. Suitable for screening in various industrial applications, including but not limited to mining, wastewater treatment, food processing, etc.
4. Quiet operation
5. Tailor the HydraSieve Screen to your specific needs with customizable options such as mesh size, screen dimensions, and inlet/outlet configurations. This flexibility ensures optimal performance for your unique application.
Applications of HydraSieve Screen
The HydraSieve Screen finds applications across various industries due to its versatility and effectiveness in separating solids from liquids.
1. Mining and Quarrying
It is used for dewatering slurry and separating valuable minerals from waste materials.
2. Wastewater Treatment
Municipal wastewater treatment plants utilize the HydraSieve Screen for preliminary screening to remove large debris and solids before further treatment processes.
3. Agriculture
In agriculture, this screen is designed for separating solids from liquid manure, irrigation water, and other agricultural liquids, aiding in nutrient management and environmental protection.
4. Pulp and Paper Industry
The screen is utilized in pulp and paper mills for fiber recovery, removing contaminants, and improving the quality of pulp and paper products.
Similarly, it plays a crucial role in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, aquaculture, and the waste recycling industry.
